Think of it this way, Grid=planned races in the cities/tracks. DiRT=Offroad and no, i haven't played Valkyria Chronicles, though i heard it was really good.

There's no free roam in Grid because it's like professional racing and racing is stationed all across the world, so you can't free roam. The only thing Grid is really missing is Drag races. I love drifting on grid though, best part of it.

And if i did have the money, i'd waste it on shoes or clothes.
