The Final Solution! (of trolling) Trolls will be trolls, and they will continue to troll in the dark at any time without warning. BUT! I have an idea to help discourage trolling. Obviously they get a suspension, but maybe it's not enough. What better to do to a troll, than embarrass them? Here's my idea: After a troll has trolled around and is found by a mod, their avatar will be temporarily changed to...a TROLL! What's more embarrassing than everyone seeing an ugly green monster when they look at your posts, basilID, trades, etc. Here's a short example I made of its effects: link A troll will have a hideous avatar like that (unremovable, even if character is deleted) for a certain amount of time. (1 day, 3 days, 5 days, etc.) Of course, if a troll deserves a suspension, they will get a suspension, and following it, a temporary 'trollification' And that's that! make sure you look at the example. Post thoughts Oh and the intentions of this would be: 1. to discourage MOST trolls from trolling 2. to make trolls easy to recognize by other players so they would keep watch on them when they post in their threads, and report them if they continue to troll. Please note: MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS WOULD LEAD TO MORE ACTION. suspensions, or other. So no, people who 'want to look like a troll for the laughs' would only end up with suspensions, bad rep, and possibly more action done against them by the mods

This might work in public for some. But on the internet, people express themselves even more without worrying. So many would like the idea of a troll avatar and exploit it.

First off, trolling is different from flaming and spamming. Second, there is such a thing as accidental trolling.

Should work, only crappy trolls get caught and deserve to get a crappy ava. Decent trolls get away with it anyway.

copy and paste this into the suggestion thread. i like the idea. possible downside: some people might begin to see trolling as a competition to see who could get the troll avatar the most.

also, the troll would have to be something that isn't available from the cash shop. some people would change their avatar to trolls for kicks 'n' giggles.
