Played it in the Philippines, had to buy prepaid cards to have game time, not sure here in America though. Its pretty fun, good graphcis, good story, a ton of classes (called jobs) and personally if you do pick a job, be Acolyte then 2nd job be Priest then 3rd job be Bishop. U level up like that.

P2P makes the game flow a lot smoother and it's cheaper to keep the servers up that way @__@ But it's more unstable and insecure. But yea, it's a boring game ):

Guild wars. You only have to buy the game once and you play free for as long as you want. Nice 3D environment and tons of classes to choose from including ninja. There is also the ability to have 2 classes at once.

There's also.............Audition, Or try club penguin =Dbut i'm not sure if those are free but i know they're good online games or are like maple but funner XD But these are the only ones i'm familiar with...I think i have others but not sure
