So today in our summer school (1st day, all days are compulsary) a new kid popped up in our class. Normally this would be wierd since you don't see a new kid in the final year, especially in India where it is only done rarely. Anyways, my class was shocked for a minute but we just went back to our normal stuff. After 1st period, a few of us guys went to him and started to talk to him, get to know him, etc. so that he gets acquainted with our school. I offered him a seat nearby me and found out we had a lot in common about our pasts O_O I even had to stand outside of a class because I was showing him around the school, but y'know that's everyday stuff. At the end of the 10th period (we have 11) a peon (like a janitor) ran into our classroom and was panting and said 'The boy...he's in 9th not 10th' -_- All of us were like so RAGEEEE at him because we wasted a whole day trying to befriend him and stuff, feeding him free food, showing him around and getting punished for him and then we find out he got the wrong grade! Now I'm thinking about it and going lol@ new kid

In 5th grade I was the new kid in New Jersey (from India) and I was voted class president O-o It was awesome how I made all the announcements, took part in all the board meetings, decided a few fun schedules, etc. all in my indian accent. Only for the first few months though, and then I got the NJ accent back :D

I would not want to be the new kid because I would desert my life and have to start new. Nvm, I have to do that in college. :D

Just lol at him like your title." *points to last sentence* You'd be a bit mad too if you spent a whole day with someone, and trying to make that guy your friend when you find out that he's not ever going to meet you again for a good part of the year and he probably won't even remember you :X (we have 10th and 9th in different buildings) @above: (in ages) 0-2: India, bombay 2-9: America, various locations, mostly NJ and FL 9-10: Again, bombay 10-12: NJ 12-now: Back in bombay :D
