golden crow or nishada (POOR)

hi i'm lv 60 xbowman (technically woman... how sexist) who uses 80 att rower. i'm thinking of changing xbow any soon cuz 80 att rower sucks. should i get a golden crow and scroll it, or get a nishada and do it? btw this is my first character in gms (had a lv 140 bishop in kms though) , so i only have like 1.5m. i don't think i can wait for the anniversary :P or should i wait and stick with my rower, even though i'll be like near 70 then? (guess i can spam on opqs and lmpqs...)

If you're gonna PQ you don't need a good weapon so I'd stick to your Rower until you can find a Nishada. Remember, you can always get a crappy one now and then upgrade once the event rolls around since almost all crossbomwn skip the GJ since they're so rare.

well... since the event's end of may... think i may have finished 3rd job by then... i'd rather start to look for lv 80 xbow T.T

You don't need a godly crossbow to grind...Chances are you'll be at Wind Raiders for your early third job and I've three hit KOed em since I got there. Even now at 86 I only two hit them (with 30 strafe and much better equipment) half the time ^_^ Damage really isn't that important. Granted, I used a very nice GC until 80 because when I bought it when Nishadas didn't exist. I suppose the actual advantage of the weapon isn't really useful until you're training on monsters that take 10+ attacks to kill, but whichever path you choose I'm not sure it'd make too much difference. If you can wait for the event it'll save you a ton of mesos if you want the Nishada. You could get a GC now and then upgrade to a Nishada once the event rolls around. Currently I've seen good clean Nishadas selling for around 11M so it really isn't worth the money.

Well GC's usually are kinda cheap, so I think you should get one, and you can just hang around lmpq to get money too since you seem a bit poor. Ah man, no one has Grossjaegars these days. Personally, I reckon they look like one of the best xbows.

I would say you should get a Nishada over a Golden Crow because of their attacking speeds. Nishadas are "fast" while Golden Crows are "normal". If you stick to LMPQ, in a week or so, you'll be back to 10M-ish depending on how much you play.
