I'm stuck on this question on my math hw and I can't seem to figure out how to solve this. "Three fifths of the automobiles entering the city each morning will be parked in city parking lots. These cars fill 3654 parking spaces. How many cars enter the city each morning?" Please don't flame me, since math class is my first period class. I end up sleeping and dozing off alot. ._.

its 6090. u just have to cross multiply. (3060/x) = (3/5)

3/5 = 0.6 so type 3654 x 0.6 in ur calculator (i may be wrong, question sounds kinda confusing)

3654/3*5=number of cars entering the city? Not sure though. EDIT: Yes, this formula will work. But cross multiplying is easier.

Lol, that's pretty easy O_O what grade are you in? 3 over 5 equals 3654 over unknown. 5 times 3654 divided by 3 is the answer D:
