I know there are probably like, a hundred threads out there asking this but could someone explain in simple terms - What is HP washing and how do you do it? Also, should I maybe quit my hunter for a x-boxman because I'm trying to get a 4th job class and by time i get there (or greatly before it), time temple will come out and those Guardian captain of oblivion seem very good training, as a MM can use pierce to obliterate mobs and then simple pick of the little hp they have left. It also seems that they replace eagle because of their new summon, frostprey, which can freeze anyway and BM's remain with eagle which consume summoning rocks. And i've seen a bowmaster training, very interesting indeed but it seems they have to be careful, seeing as they usually use hurricane to kill the monsters and have to use puppet where as the MM can just go in and kill because puppet becomes sort of obselete with such strong pierce.

hp washing is substituting mp for hp. Eg When u lvl u put points into hp then u ap reset points outta mp back into dex

So will that make you weaker or will yuor damge remain the same as if you had just putthat point into dex?

basically it's costly transferring of mp to hp. Therefore you will have less mp more hp and the same amount of dex because of the ap resets.

you can only resest ur mp when it is above avg mp so if u have like under avg mp u cant ap reset ur mp so i recommend doing it once per lv

depends becuz most ppl would hp wash just to survive hits from a monster so if u cant survive one hit from a monster and u wanna train there start hp washing and calculate from there untill u have enough hp to survive Note that one hp point will give u about 16-17 hp and also account for the hp given each time u lv w/o hp wash example: u currently have 2440 hp and the monster atk is 2558 hp wash 10 lv earlier then the lv u wanna train there

Some extra information to point out (didn't mean to bump up the thread): If you level up with INT equips, you will gain 1 extra mp per 10 INT. Since archers have a minimum MP formula of: level * 14 + 148 , if your BASE MP (amount of MP without equips) is below the calculated number, then you cannot reset your MP back to DEX. Each reset takes away 12 MP, so there is a certain limit on how many times you can wash. The best way is to add the AP when you level up to HP first, because that can give you 16-20 HP, but if you use your reset point from MP, it will only give you 16 HP. I'll wait for someone else to answer your hunter part
