Hello to everyone, i found out (like many maplers already) some funny and interesting things about Monster Book and cards, lets see some: Number of Cards : As you collect cards on an specific monster, some features are updated: 1st Card : Animation of the monster standing still 2nd Card : HP and MP of the monster and the animation of him walking around 3rd Card : Episode (Brieve story about the monster such as origins, costumes, and pretty much like a pokedex) and the animation of the monster when angry 4th Card : Drops (list of the drops the monster have, do not include any omok pieces) and the animation of the monster when its hitted 5th Card : Found in (location where the monster can be found, lol) and the animation of the monsters when they die (or pass out for sensitive souls). When you find the 5 cards a medal appears on the bottom left of the card, also, if you right click any image (must have at least 1 card of the moster) you can put that like a cover of the book, same think to remove it or change it. Bugs? : when you find a card, it usually gives you an effect, but somehow some of them doesnt have any (low level mosnters). My theory its that the effect you get relys on your level, so if a lvl 200 found a green snail card, he doesnt get the effect. When you collect all 5 cards from a single monster, the effect is not showed on the icon on the top right of the screen. Maybe its because of the reason above. I may post pics later, if you make your own, give me the link to put it here, of course i will give you credits. If the close the database sites it will make the game SUPER hard for new players, since it'll take a long time to get the monster cards and there wil lbe no quest or map help.

Plenty of high level people won't be able to complete it. Since you can only find King slime in Kpq and Alishar in Lpq.

The reason that low leveled monsters don't give effects is that effects only come from the cards of level 30+ monsters.

About missed cards, i think there was a thread that stated that there will be an event to buy those cards. i cant remember well tho

Boss cards will be available to trade for a certain amount of Maple Leaves this anniversary. If you're not getting a card's effect, it just means that card doesn't have one. I got a Tick Tock and Master Chronos card today, and I only got an effect from the Tick Tock one, the lower level monster. Other websites will not be shut down, as this has been in KMS for some time and Insoya is still running.

you wont get buffs from monster cards that are less than lvl 30, but when you find 5 cards you will get a buff(I got +8 extra exp for each kill once I found all 5 cards for an hour). Also the buffs work only when you are at a certain map. For example Jr. Wraith, it gives a buff of speed+1 but only when training on subway.

is same in drum bunny i got one card there and i receive more drop rate just in drum bunny =D
