Nexon suing and banning (A Contradiction)

Recently (as most of you may know) there was been a huge up roar about Nexon banning leechers, suing hackers, and a bunch of other stuff. One such post consisted of a certain individual (Icyredslush) claiming to be posting the truth. There are several things i find wrong with her statements some of these may but just opinions some of which might be facts but i'm going to clear up a few things that have been brewing. #1: NEXON CAN SUE PEOPLE FOR HACKING? This individual has claimed that Nexon can in fact sue sumone for hacking. Now to a certain degree this is correct. If an individual hacks the game and ultimately messes with everyones files and makes the game to where Nexon loses money, the hacker can in fact be sued. As for hacking like Godmode, Vac hac, and other hacks as those. Nexon WILL not and can not sue. Now you may say "Well this guy supports hacking therefore is opposing this girl." I am not in any way supporting hacking. I have been hacked before and let me tell you it is not at all pleasant. Now you may wonder why i can say that Nexon CAN NOT sue sumone for using those hacks, well here it is. 1. When suing sumone u are trying to gain back what you have lost in the incident and can not walk away with more that u had before the incident. 2. If a person decides to hack do you honestly think they will provide there actual info in the account sign up?. 3. Nexon does not lose money over hackers. Yes people may quit because they got hacked or quit because they are tired of the hacking but Nexon DID not have the money that was to be spent on NX in the future therefore it was not there posession therefore they cannot gain what they did not have. Now why Nexon WILL not sue. Nexon will not sue hackers because tracking down each and every individual would cost ALOT of money. Here i was argued against on and she gave a pretty good point but there was a problem with what she said. this is what Icyredslush said. "They do have to track down every hacker by federal law of the United States it is a crime allow illegal activity to happen under your control and not to report it. They do this with the help of law enforcement and it does not cost them anything it costs the defendant money and that is called restitution and fines. After that Nexon will sue you and they do not lose money doing that they gain money doing that because they lost money due to your actions and are recovering the loss. They already monitor the players of their game that is what a GM does and other staff members to record activity that either breaks their rules or the law." If the hacking here affected personal information, company expenses, or theft then the goverment would help out. But a simple hacking of the game to get mesos, level up, or simply not be hit by monsters is no way in fact that the goverment will be motivated to help Nexon track down these hackers and have them put in jail. I agree with you a lot more than I agree with Icyredslush. :I Your thread seems perfectly logical and, honestly, common sense: why would Nexon go to some much trouble to ban a few kids for hacking on their game? It'd give them a bad image and probably scare away players.

It'd give them a bad image and probably scare away players." I honestly agree with Nexon with trying ways to stop hackers, maybe not as bad as suing, but hackers were becoming worse and worse. It may of matched the Hacking Era before long. But truthfully, after seeing some lawsuits I cannot believe people won, I wouldn't be surpised if nexon sued and won.

There is enough evidence to prove they can ban you for leeching. Nexon never said directly that "leeching is not bannable." My evidence is in my Profil3 blog below.

Edit: After thinking about it for a bit smarti is correct leeching could be bannable. Nexon GM's banning opinions vary from gm to gm so you might not be safe leeching. Until we get a clear answer from nexon its probally not a good idea to leech. =)

lmfao! i think they mean that since hackers ruins everyones playing moments it causes them to quit and if a lot of people quit ther profit would go down! example if nexon made 100 dollars off 10 people if 1 would quit they would lose 10$ now if half quit they woudl lose 50$ because of hackers. i think this is what they mean of how they can sue if they lost major profit. i think thats what she was tryinng to point out. but then again maple is HUGE soo i doublt acouple fo hackers can make ther profit go down lols
