As many people have said before: 1D is a line 2D is a shape that only has 2 dimensions 3D is a figure that has 3 dimensions: length, width, and height EDIT: 1D is a line OR a point on a coordinate plane |

Arguement : The dimensions are not as accurately represented as they would be in, say, first person shooters (like someone before me said, Halo), but they are there. You can go forwards, backwards, to the right, and to the left. In addition, if the game allows flight, you'd be able to go up. If it let you dig underground, you'd be able to go down. There you go. |

It may look better, and more like a 3D game, but it only utilizes overlapping in images to show depth instead of showing another dimension. It is 2D and so is MS. |

Those are only two lines still. Down is simply the negative of up and left is the negative of right. It's all in the same plane. |
