Ok, so i've decided that i'm going to restart. I'm going to be making a fighter but i want to know why there are less axe warriors? is it because they do less dmg? or are they more expensive? would it be a good idea for me to make a 2h axe warrior with no funding? and also which world should i make it in i cant decide between 3. (Mardia,Yellonde,or Dementhos.) I'd appreciate it if any of you could help me out by giving me any items you dont need or want or just would like to give to me =] Thanks in advance =]

They are easier to work with *while being unfunded*; their weapons are fairly inexpensive, even if they're amazingly scrolled. There aren't too many of them because in 4th job, their main attacking skill *Bandish* is 1 forced stab and 1 forced slash *for the 2 hits*. An axes damage multiplier is good on a slash, but horrible on a stab; while with swords, it has a nice multiplier both ways. I don't know that much about Warriors though, so this is the most I can help with~ *Bump*

I am by no means a melee weapon conniseur, but I have heard many fighters opt for 2h swords because of looks, as well as the more consistent damage. Axes have lower minimums and higher maximum damages than swords, it would appear. You won't need funding for a warrior. Axes and their scrolls are much cheaper than swords, but conversely, it is difficult to find many well scrolled, higher level axes. You will have to scroll them on your own, most likely. As for worlds, I really have no experience with any.

ok So would i be able to use axe just until i get brandish then switch over to a sword?

no, you cannot switch over without your damage suffering If you want originality, somewhat unstable damage, and cheap weapons, go axe. If you want stable damage, better damage in 4th job, but more expensive weapons, go sword. There is obviously a reason why the majority of fighters choose sword, but feel free to choose axe if you want to

The Brandish Is Weaker, But In My Opinion, I Think Axes Look Better, And You Probably Wont Get To Fourth Job For A While (If You Even Do).

3 things to tell u. 1: if u switch to sword, ur charachter will be messed up because in your second job u have to pick one of the 2. There are 2 u NEED, sword mastery and axe mastery. You can max both of them and still have rage and power guard. FA is useless (my opinion). In your third job, the skills separate even more. There are 2 identical skills, same damage percentage, but one is for sword and other one is for axe. Just pick one, axe or sword. 2: ppl dont like axe because it has a more unstable att range than swords. Ex: if theres a 50 att sword, your att range might be (estimate) 100-500. For axe, it might be something like (estimate) 80-520. Also, axes are slower than swords. Even if they all say their attack speed is normal, the axe is still slower. 3:If your poor (around 30m) then use axe. axe scrolls are ALOT cheaper than sword scrolls. For a 60% 2h att scroll, ur looking at 1-3m. for axe, its like 100k. You also need attack gloves or an attack sheild if your using a one handed axe. I dont think your rich enough ( no offense ) to get att sheild. p.s, i dont think ppl would give u good items to u lol

If you dont care about scrolls and stuff just use whatever u want. I think you can max rage, power guard, both mastery and 10 in each booster in second job. If you plan on getting to lvl 70, then that means you would get 40x3+1 SP which is 121 SP. so then... both mastery = 40 sp, rage = 20, power guard = 30, 10 in each booster = 20. so 40+20+30+20=110 sp. Then you would have 11 sp left over and you could put it into FA. OHHH ORBS! lol now i remember. The combo attack skill when ur crusader. Without FA, its still fast building orbs. With FA, idk.. maybe like 2 seconds faster? idk but 10 orbs takes like less than 20 seconds to build.

I've Never Tried Building Orbs, But Appently FA Makes It Faster. So I Guess You're Suggesting That All Unfunded Pages Go Blunt Weapon If They're Unfunded? Because It's Exactly The Same Situation.
