Laptop Restarts When I Run Maple

I haven't been on maple in long time and I thought I should just update it just incase I might want to play it if I ge bored. However, when I click the Start button, it won't do the update and it would just restart my whole laptop. So, I tried to manual patch it, but after I did, it still keeps restarting. Anyone know the problem?

I tried reinstalling a good amount of times yea, probably a good solution, but I get bored. =] and no idea what a BSOD is...sorry, technologically challenged

A BSOD is a blue screen with information detailing the reason you crashed. Usually, it causes you to restart.

i reinstalled maple. it was .67 so i used the patcher some guy poster to make it .68 it still restarts my laptop, and no BSOD after the picture of the mushroom disappears and the screen goes dark, thats when it restarts

Delete every trace of Maplestory. Then install from site

LastExileIve had the same problem with my desktop before. Two solutions: Restart system manually OR Un/Re install
