Why do people think GM's dont do anything?

Well I think they do a pretty bad job, in most games, the patches only take a few minutes. For Nexon, they take hours with crazy extensions. The game is infested with hackers, there were a lot of glitches in the last patch and I also lost quite a lot of NX in a rollback from well over a year ago and they still haven't replied to the ticket i sent a few days after the rollback. As you can see, I have my reasons for thinking they do a very bad job in running the game, but I still like Maplestory a lot.

A patch does not take a few minutes. Every game i've been on, it's at least 2 hours. And the patches are by far not even close to the size that GMS have. As for the glitches and the hackers, they sure could improve on them.

If so they didnt do a very good job testing v.67.

I agree with the people in this thread. They do their job... but just enough to get by. They dont tie up loose ends, they could work harder, not just slip by.

I think they're doing a decent job; there's definitely room for improvement. Since we're specifically talking about GMs and not the tech part of the staff, I'll just say that they do ban a lot of hackers, but it's not enough. I still see plenty of BLATANT hackers (especially HT). As for the other part of their job, hosting events, they do that like once a blue moon and always switch continents, making a lot of people trying to take transportation to fail at even having a shot at the event. Or, they host an event at only ONE continent and if you're in Ludi while it's happening at Vic, it sucks to be you. I'd say they do a horrible job at hosting events.

Oh how I wish for the godly blue text back, good ole days. I saw the huge list of hackers that were perma banned, but you can't even determine which server there from. I wish that categorized it so your know that your server is improving.
