The thing is, if you changed the hair to a shorter more boyish style, it can totally pass for a boy.

Looks fine to me, people are just being picky. If anything the mouth could be lowered a little but other than that I don't see what's wrong with the hair or hat. You got a lot of talent I'm working on my drawing skills and want to post something on basil someday when I think I'm decent enough.

Chaud said: " you actually made it worse xD. you didn't really address any of the real problems. and for those that you did, it only got exaggerated, not alleviated." nope, not really :P the first thing i noticed seemed awkward in this drawing was the position of the nose and mouth, but missceci fixed that. i know some guy said earlier that her chin looks too big but it's because she's "looking upwards", but even so, it wouldn't look like that. she did a nice job on the shading, though.

I think the original screen was better, because the whole face was looking up, and you didnt change the eyes on your version. So practically you took the eyes that were looking up and replaced the mouth and nose to a normal face :S
