This is pretty great for a first drawing. To improve, take these things into your mind. First of all, the folds in pants are NOT waves. They are not random squigly lines xD. Also, right now he looks VERY skinny. Try getting a little muscle on that guy. That is all. And by the way, I admire your calligraphy.
