Draw your figures "nude" first to get the proportions right. This will help when planning a dynamic pose, as the one you presented seems to have been done out of a lack of ideas. Try avoiding a "straight-on" face, because it appears quite awkward. A slight tilt will do wonders. As for the hair, try using a solid color for the base, then shade portions rather than going for each individual strand. Leave the effect of the strands to the smudge tool, set to a small size. Eh, that's my two cents. Yo

I think the char is a bit too grey-ish. Also, the hair looks kind of un-natural. The face is so-so. Overall, I like this picture The background is ab. fab <3

Awesome. My only criticism is the hair (Not much) and the right hand (Looks unnatural). When I draw hands I usaully will put mine in the position I want to draw a hand in and base it of of the real thing. I think that will help you out because it looks like its "out of the joint". Keep making these, I love it. :D
