Generally, try to avoid walls of text unless you have to or it's for dramatic/comedic effect. People like comics because of the artwork and the scenes happening in the story. I guess that's true, but he does have plenty of room in that panel (plus he could extend the comic's height too). He even has ~78kb to work with if he wanted to keep the quality up. But I'll wait for his answer. I'm sure it'll make more sense than all of us guessing.
