You should try to make the background black it helps dim out the blinding light. Your panels are made better than I could ever do. I'll assume your using photoshop, if so, try to use some of the blurring affects and blur out two layers like when their fighting and one is being knocked back, blur the front of the character being knocked and change it's position to the crouch position. Hope I help a bit
