Alright I have to say a few things first. I couldn't find a way to progress the story without making this part of the first chapter a little bit cliche. Also to those who signed up to be part of the comic, I apologize that I couldn't include you because I got way too much applications. And the new story couldn't fit with that much people. Go figure. Try and expect a little better next time, but I can't keep any promises.

... Really, this seems to follow the generic plotline; also, it's devoid of any comedy whatsoever.... So, lose-lose situation.

This is like such an overused story. "Oh s/he died for me, I must get revenge" <-- But wait s/he also gave me magical powers! "Yeah whatever, we'll kill you" "No way, I can't die, I'm getting revenge" <--- And I have magical powers from the person you killed! Gee, I wonder how it will end? Could the hero possibly get his revenge? It's just too predictable and has no background, nor much of a future for that matter.

Look! In the flashback, he uses my 'future' character in place of the 'past' in which his own 'present' exists my 'past' character! Paradox!

Seems pretty cliche'd. I'm pretty sure you'll end the story right here or go to chapter 2 and quit, because I've seen a lot of those cliche'd ones go like that. Good luck, though.
