press alt+f12 to get rid of the FPS thing. it comes up when ever you go into window mode. or press alt + f 12

The FPS thing up there is caused by pressing Alt+Tab. Just press it 1 or 2 more times and it'll go away.

Side note, the FPS thing is a command/hotkey o_O I get it a lot when I change from windowed mode to fullscreen. o_o Can't remember the button combination for the FPS counter. <_< You could always try Alt+F4 <_< <3
