man it sucks who wants to wast ethat much money on something that probably will not work............ can'r believe nexon made 3% clean slate scrolls
RandomPieBoy 06/25/08Iphu3niax said: " WHO said they are related? The scroll did; " If failed , the items will be destroyed at a 10% rate". 70% scrolls can't have a 50% destroy rate, if it's not related either. That would make the total probability 120%! So they must either have the destroy rate set if it doesn't work, or the rate calculated to - in 5% clean slate scrolls case - 9.5%." The guy I quoted said they are related. Brilliant powers of observation.

What if 10% is calculated based on its own solution? 10% destroyed, 90% just fail? I'm pretty sure programmers like to have independent variables just in case one code fails. Even if it was 9.5%, would they say 9.5%? Are you going to use 1000 of them to prove you're right? Didn't think so. Why? Because it's not important. Common sense."

Dude, if the scroll says that the destroy rate is at 10% I'm not going to do the math. And you are probably wrong because nexon isn't that smart.

i have no idea what these nerds are talking about

lol. i had a 3% one work on my icarus cape(2)... i was pretty surprised... would've sucked if the 6% destroy went into effect though >_>
Exoious 06/23/08
Seems pretty cheap, but 5% is low though :D
Cyadd 06/23/08
There's 1%, 3%, and 5%. Supposedly it should not take up a scroll slot as you are trying to get rid of a bad one. That's why it doesn't add 8 slots to an item if it fails.
