I Love the blade (not sure if it's the right word, but i mean the black/yelllow part) The metal part looks a bit glass-ish tho.

It's good, but there r somethings you gotta improve. Try putting more realistic textures and use mental ray instead of scanline, cuz it gives a 100x more realistic appearence to the scene. Keep going, you're on the way

Yeah, I forgot to smooth out the edge of the blade. x.X> About the dragon head, I'm not that good with UV mapping and finally, the reflection is from the environment not from a texture. (I'm only in 10th grade x.x)" No problem. If that's the environment as a reflection, try to put a fairly focused spot light shining onto the blade from where the sun would be, and then make the reflection sharper. You'll get a more realistic feel if you

GuruHamm said: "That's a decent piece. I would suggest using about 3 times the poly count on the actual blade. It would allow for a smoother curve on the blade and allow you to create some dimensionality so that the blade has a sharp side and a thick side. The grip and the eye jewel are both really well textured, and the reflection on the blade is a nice touch, but it looks faked (as if a texture with a reflection was applied instead of using the world lighting and reflections to do it via a ray
