Making an actual map for the Haunted house with all it's connecting rooms and doors would be way too complicated and end up too ugly to be a map for Maplestory where all the other maps are all pretty and cute and stuff >_> So they just added in pictures of the most important places in the Mansion to just make it look cute. I guess.
